Evangeline Lien

Sixteen-year-old violist Evangeline Lien, from Los Angeles, California, is the first violist ever to receive the Grand Prize in the LA Music Center’s Spotlight Competition (2025). She is the 1st Prize winner of the Camerata Artists International Concerto Competition, performing as soloist with Camerata New Jersey, and winner of the Shkolnikova International Concerto Competition (2025), where she appeared with the Shkolnikova Chamber Orchestra under Maestro Dmitry Sitkovetsky in France. Additional honors include 1st Prize in the New York Artists Guild Competition and 1st Prize with Grand Prize Nominee in the New York International Classical Music Competition (2025). Evangeline has performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the LA Music Center, NY Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Merkin Hall. She has participated in masterclasses with Sergey Malov, Karen Dreyfus, Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, Piotr Aarnio, and Fabio Bidini, and serves as Founder and Co-Director of the Back to Bach Project – Inland Empire Region.
