Ivy Yin

Ivy began studying violin at the age of five and quickly demonstrated both passion and talent for music. By age six, she was already participating in competitions, where she has since garnered numerous top prizes. Her achievements include awards from prestigious international and national competitions such as the CAIC, BIMC, AVIMC, NYYVC, OPUS National Music Competition, Bravura Philharmonic, and PIMF Virtual Concerto Competition.

In 2025, at the age of 11, she was accepted into the Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division, where she currently studies under renowned violin pedagogue Professor Masao Kawasaki. She also attended the Meadowmount School of Music during the summer of 2025. In addition to her dedication to classical music, Ivy enjoys a wide range of activities, including soccer, tennis, skiing/snowboarding and reading.
